Uutisointi on keskittynyt isoihin yhtiöihin joiden tiedetään ajavan omia tarkoitusperiään aikaajoin. Netti on tuonut kumminkin mahdollisuuden levittää ja hakea tietoa myös muualta. Trollaus ja mainostoimistojen sekä joidenkin valtioidenkin tekemiä valeuutisia on kyllä netti täynä. Mutta tässä yksi lista vaihtoehtoisista lähteistä ja yksikään ei ole venäläinen.
